a woman wearing a pink shirt is facing the camera. A man's arm is outstretched, holding a cactus in front of her face to conceptually represent the concept of experiencing sensory overload.

What is Touchy Feely?

Touchy Feely is your home on the internet for all things sensory wellness. From anxiety to feeling touched out, we're here to help you prevent and overcome stress and overwhelm.

What are sensory sensitivities?

Sensory sensitivities occur when a person's individual nervous system is hyper-reactive to stimuli and becomes overstimulated.

Heightened sensitivity may cause overwhelm, discomfort, or physical and emotional pain.

Sensory sensitivity exists on a spectrum, and some people may have mild sensitivities, while others have more severe or profound sensitivities.

People with conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), chronic PTSD, and sensory processing disorder, are most likely to have sensory sensitivities, but anyone can experience them.

How do you choose your brands?

We follow a rigorous process for vetting and testing brands using fundamentals from psychology, neurology, as our guide.
